Baylor is obnoxious and self-serving. When I moved here I had to get scripts from Dr.’s back home, getting aboard local Dr.’s took months. This conversation was had with day one. These meds were hand written next to a list of current meds from local Dr.’s. And signed by myself and an assistant. Two visits later, in a room with Baylor and his team of young boys, I was informed that I was no longer able to get any help at that office. No explanation whatsoever. Needless to say I was dumbfounded. I asked and was told I never told him about the meds. He was informed not only did we discuss it, I signed a doc with a list of all meds including those. Not true he said. I asked him if he was calling me a liar and he said yes. I was furious. Then he proceeds to leave. There was more conversation. I found another Dr., asked Blueridge for my records, over two weeks later, no records. I went there the day of my appointment and they promised to get them right over. Didn't happen. After this I called to get all my records and was told to call medicopy. I received half my records. I went back to blueridge to get my records, told they would be ready on Thursday and would call me to pick them up. No call. I went in today to get the complete list. My main objective was to get the discharge and the doc with all the meds listed and signed. Not there, don't know anything and I don't know what I'm talking about. I told the lady she and I discussed the exact docs and the conversation was recorded. She didn't like that at all. She preceded to tell me I never went to get a MRI. Huh? They gave me an order and I never went. That's not true. Another blatant lie. She was called to another room, came out with more docs. I'll be darn, she was holding the MRI docs from a MRI I never had done. Did she apologize? Hell no. Not only is Baylor a blatant liar, looks like MED records follows suit. No problem, with the phone call and docs I have, it's going straight to the Medical Board. I do not, would not and will not recommend Baylor or blue ridge pain to anyone. Go at your own risk...

I absolutely adore Dana and thank God for her caring touch. I have had ten back surgeries and before I started seeing her I was on opioids, muscle relaxers, migraine meds etc etc. I quit taking everything 5 years ago and was just resigned to live in misery. Started yoga and intense stretching but wasn't able to achieve my goals before I started trigger point injections which have done wonders. I am now doing Botox for neck and migraine pain and would be in bed and no life without them. Helps that Dana is awesome at reminding me to keep doing my breathing exercises and talks me through them because sometimes I need them from top to bottom and some hurt but worth it within about half an hour just wanted to thank her for caring

Got there a few minutes early , my 91 year old companion wanted to go in alone for privacy but she is in a wheelchair due to not being able to stand long. The nurse named Keisha refused to wheel her in and looked at her like she had a disease. Told her she need to get up and walk down the hall herself to get weighed. Then she was put in a room with NO AIR CIRCULATION and no AC , so she opened the room door just for the nurse to come and tell her for privacy this stays shut and slams it. Then had to sit in that room just waiting for an hour and 45 minutes just for a 5 minute talk and nothing resolved because she was told THIS IS A CONSULTATION u have to come back in 6 weeks. What a disappointment all the way around

Dr. Baylor spent no more than 5 minutes with my 84 year old mother who suffers from chronic back pain.
If he would have taken the time I think he would have realized the level of her pain. She continues to suffer.

I was first seen by Dr Swanson in 2008. I was in tremendous pain in my spine and losing control of my left leg. I was exhausted walking 20 feet from a chair in our living room to my bedroom.
A different doctor in the valley had done an MRI on me, told me I had a herniated disc that could not “be fixed” because of the way it was situated. That was all he told me. Dr. Swanson showed my husband and I the MRI. I had a calcification in the shape of an arrowhead literally sticking into my spinal CORD! And I had been caring for my infant granddaughter, driving to elementary schools to pick up my other grandchildren. I was mortified.
Dr Swanson sent me to UVA to a wonderful neurosurgeon who could repair me. And he did!
Over the years I have had numerous spinal injections which helped tremendously. I could not ask for a more empathetic and kind pain management physician than Dr Swanson, or Jordan Young. Jordan is now back home in Mississippi. He is missed!

Yesterday I had my 11th epidural steroid injection 10 injections were done elsewhere by different Doctors. all 10 were very painful with complications following. Dr. Dragovitch preformed one on me yesterday. The office was pleasant his assistant Alisha eased my anxiety and was very nice to me. I had NO discomfort, I didn't even feel the injection. Most of all I had no pain in my leg. Thank you is not enough. God bless Dr. and Alisha.

I had a great visit with the doctor but the rest is awful. I was late for my appointment (I am 3 hours away). There was construction on the highway and I was late. They refused to see me. They made me an appointment in Salem which was 40 min longer and I could not make it. I called to reschedule and no one ever gets back to you. They say don’t leave multiple messages. A regular doc would not get away with that. All pain clinics treat you like an addict. I have had a severe car accident which left me with several injuries. I am out of medication and all I wanted was a new appointment. I don’t know why they leave you hanging. Not professional at all

Dr Andrew Critchlow is great. I received out patent surgery Nov12, 2020.. due to feet, ankle, hip and lower back pain that pretty much had me subdued to the bed and or couch. rainy days and winter months were the worst, to the point I did not want to have company nor talk on the phone for weeks on end. just doing simple task had become a nightmare. I have been a patent of Dr Critchlow for about two years, he has given me shots and other procedures that some worked and some not so much. However thru this time he was narrowing down the options for me that led to the operation I just received. I am ecstatic... even the surgery soreness does not compare to the discomfort i had prior to the operation...Thank you Dr .Andrew Critchlow Thank you...you are my hero

I have been going to Dr. Swanson for many years and he is very caring and a good doctor. Being in pain is not fun and taking the medications are not fun but Dr. Swanson has helped me in so many ways to make things better.
